What is SearchJet?
SearchJet is an AI-ready search platform built on Meilisearch. It provides plugins and APIs that deliver lightning-fast results, semantic relevance, and deep analytics for WordPress, WooCommerce, SaaS products, and headless apps.
Do I need WordPress to use SearchJet?
No. WordPress users get a turnkey plugin, but you can also integrate SearchJet through our REST API, JavaScript/React hooks, or PHP SDK. Push any structured data, then query it from any frontend.
Which plans include semantic search?
Semantic ranking is included with Pro and Enterprise plans, and available as an add-on for Starter customers. Bring your own embeddings or use SearchJet-managed vectors.
Integration & setup
How does the WordPress plugin work?
Install the SearchJet Instant Search plugin, paste your project ID and API key, pick the post types you want to sync, and enable live indexing. WooCommerce products, JetEngine listings, and custom post types stay in sync automatically.
Can I use SearchJet with a headless frontend?
Yes. Query the `/api/v1/search` endpoint from frameworks like Next.js, Remix, or Nuxt. Return JSON, hydrate your components, and pass filters or facets directly from the frontend.
How do I authenticate with the API?
Every project receives scoped API keys. Include `Authorization: Bearer <API_KEY>` in each request. Create separate keys for staging, production, or agency clients inside the dashboard.
Usage & limits
What are the indexing limits?
Free plans index up to 200 records. Starter supports 5,000, Pro 50,000, and Enterprise is unlimited. You can monitor usage and trigger reindexing from the dashboard.
How fast is indexing?
SearchJet performs delta updates in seconds. Starter includes four automated reindexes per day, while Pro and Enterprise offer continuous sync and webhook-triggered updates.
What happens when I exceed my plan limits?
We notify you ahead of time. You can upgrade instantly, purchase overages, or talk with sales to tailor a plan that fits your traffic patterns.
Support & billing
Where can I get help?
Our support team is available via email and the dashboard. Starter includes email support, Pro offers priority responses within 12 hours, and Enterprise customers receive a dedicated technical account manager.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Starter, Pro, and Enterprise plans can be billed annually with a two-month discount. Contact sales to switch from monthly to annual invoices.
How do I cancel?
You can cancel anytime from the billing settings. Your plan remains active until the end of the current cycle, and you retain access to your indexed data.
