Common Issues
- Products not appearing in search results:
- Cause: The initial data sync may not have completed or may have failed.
- Solution: Check the app dashboard for sync status. Manually trigger a re-sync if available.
- Search bar not showing autocomplete:
- Cause: Theme conflict or JavaScript error.
- Solution:
- Check if your theme has a custom search form that is overriding the app’s injection.
- Check the browser’s console for JavaScript errors.
- Try the Manual Theme Integration steps.
- Styling looks broken:
- Cause: CSS conflicts with your theme.
- Solution: Use the customization options in the SearchJet admin to adjust CSS. For deep customization, you may need to add custom CSS to your theme that targets SearchJet’s HTML classes.
